Campeche often gets overlooked because of its relative proximity to Mérida, Yucatán, but this is a city that you do not want to miss! It is a beautiful, colonial town that is situated right along a beautiful stretch of coastline. Campeche is well worth a day trip (or more!) from Mérida.
