Where Did We Eat
Today we visited one of our absolute favorite places in town to eat breakfast, Fredy’s Tucan. We probably visit Fredy’s at least once a week. It’s that good! Fredy, the owner, is inviting, hospitable, and he has hired some of the best workers in town. We recommend trying the machaca with eggs. If you have never heard of machaca, it is strips of beef jerky style meat (except a little more tender) with sautéed onions, tomatoes, poblano pepper, eggs, and refried beens. If you are a meat and eggs kind of person, machaca is a must try!
We have an entire post dedicated to Fredy’s Tucan, so for more information on where it’s located and other great dishes, click on over here!
For dinner, we headed over to A Page in the Sun. A page in the sun is a cafe with tons of character, coffee , and of course, books. Along with great coffee and books, A Page in the Sun has excellent bagels and sandwiches. For dinner, Greg suggests trying the chicken baguette sandwich. If you eat on the lighter side, Hillary suggests getting a bagel with cream cheese.
