THE TOP EIGHT REASONS YOU SHOULD VISIT PUERTO VALLARTA

The Top 8 Reasons to Visit Puerto Vallarta, Mexico

Just in case you are on the fence about visiting (REALLY?!), we wanted to give you 8 reasons to visit the great city of Puerto Vallarta! Do you really need to be convinced to travel to the tropical paradise that Puerto Vallarta, Mexico??

♥The People

Whenever people ask us what we like most about Puerto Vallarta, our first response is always “the people”. It is difficult to describe how nice the people are here. It is just something you have to experience. We believe Puerto Vallarta has the nicest people in the world living here.

♥The Food

Man, we cannot say enough about how good the food is in Puerto Vallarta. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner, Puerto Vallarta has some of the best food in the world. Whether you are in the mood for Italian, American, Asian, or Mexican food, Puerto Vallarta has it all. (We really, really like some good food.)

♥The Walkability

You can walk almost everywhere you need to get! Markets, the gym, the beach, restaurants, bars, your friends, etc. are all within walking distance! We do not have a car and we never have a problem getting around. If you need to get across town, the bus and taxi system both work really well and both extremely affordable.

♥The Beaches

Do you want a quiet, secluded beach? How about a South Beach style beach with a party atmosphere? Just like the food, Puerto Vallarta has it all when it comes to beaches! You can find a constant party going on at Los Muertos or you can enjoy a more laid back vibe at Amapas Conchas Chinas or Punta Negra, among many others!

♥The Cost

Flights, food, and fun are all affordable in Puerto Vallarta. Two can easily dine at a mid-range restaurant for $12-15 USD. All inclusive hotels are very reasonable as well as apartment rentals near the beach. You get a big bang for your buck whenever you travel to Puerto Vallarta. (and compared to life in Dallas, we are so thankful for the lower prices!)

♥The Convenience

Puerto Vallarta is such an accessible place to fly in to. The airport is in a great spot-you can get straight to your hotel or the downtown (El Centro) area within 30 minutes. (Terminal to beach in an hour?! Yes please.) When compared to places like Hawaii or destinations in the Caribbean, PV is an easy choice if you are looking for a shorter, less stressful travel day.

♥The Things to Do

There is a to to do in Puerto Vallarta. From music, to live performances, to enjoying street food in the middle of a festival, and so much more, there is no shortage of vibrant life here! The diversity of things to do in this cheerful town make it ever-changing and exciting (salsa lessons-we are coming for ya!)

♥The Weather…Most of the Time

During the months of December-May the weather is perfect. Never cold, never hot, the sun is always shining, and there is always a cool breeze blowing in. This makes Puerto Vallarta a perfect winter time vacation. If you are coming during the summer months (June-October), expect it to be hot. Really hot. However, the upside to the warm weather is that the city is less crowded so you can easily see and do everything you want to do without fighting the crowds.

There are so many more reasons to visit Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, but these are our top 8! If, for some reason, you are not yet convinced to visit this paradise getaway, I’m not sure you can be saved!!All joking aside, we would be happy to help clear up anything else you may want to know about Puerto Vallarta.
