Post Mexico- Where Are We Now?

Just in case you are new here, Hillary and I just spent an amazing 4 months in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico. We loved every minute of it, but now we have to figure out what the heck to do now!

Currently we are living with Hillary’s parents in Belton, Texas. That’s right. We moved back in with the parents. We are the ultimate millennials! We just hate authority and we are soooo lazy 🙂

I digress…

When we lived in Dallas we were only renting an apartment, which made it easy to pack up and leave for Mexico, but the flip side of that is that we don’t have a home to call our own. We joked with our friends back in Puerto Vallarta about being homeless, but now the reality is setting in!

Our fingers are crossed that everything goes well while living in Belton. We are giving you a front seat to what our life looks like right now by shooting daily vlogs over on youtube!

If videos aren’t your thing, that’s cool!

We in the middle of unpacking all of our stuff at her parents house. Well, really we are trying to go through all of our stuff and determine what we really need and what we can donate or sell at a re-sell shop. After living in Mexico for four months out of our suitcases we decided that we have way too much stuff! We want to continue a life full of travel and that is just way easier to do if you don’t have much to tie you down!

Additionally, we don’t have very much space in our two rooms at Hill’s parents house.

While we are in Belton Hillary will be working remotely, I will be substitute teaching (pending being hired!), and we hope to be able to visit our nieces and nephews more regularly. We loved being far away in Puerto Vallarta, but we are excited about the opportunity to spend more time with family than we did when we were away.

In the meantime, we will be planning our next adventure- but it’s too early to let you on to any crazy ideas we have… 😉

We are going on a 14 day cruise out of Miami in a few days and we are super excited! Although we were living abroad, we didn’t get to explore much outside of the PV area so we are really excited to do some more traveling!

Stay tuned for more videos and updates on how living with Hillary’s parents is going! I am sure we will have some awesome/funny/terrible stories to tell!

Keep it Kinetic,

Greg
